Download the latest ROM package file for your device

- remember a thing after download rom file ..
- that is , file compressed and you need to uncompressed it using winrar software.
- after it you get a file ..now rename it
- abc.zip ( it will show warnings like file become unusable you should press ok or yes)
- than extract this file using winrar.
- than cut the extracted folder and paste it in
- c: drive or any other drive ..
- make sure the folder do not contain any spaces in its name. even its sub folder
- than go to phone setting and choose option about phone.
- and click on build no . option 7 times continously.
- this will unlock developer options in phone setting menu ...
- now open setting , go to developer option
- and turn on option Unlock bootloader. press yes for warning.
- install these driver in your windows pc

Turn off the device. Press the Volume– key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode. Then connect the device to the Windows PC/laptop via a USB Type-C cable.

Decompress the downloaded ROM file and open the file folder for the decompressed ROM pack, then copy its path on the computer.

Decompress the Mi Flash Tool downloaded in Step 1, and double click on it to install ( if there is security warning, select 'Run'). After installation is completed, open MiFlash.exe and paste into the address bar the ROM file folder path copied in the last step.

Click on the first button (circled out in yellow) to Refresh, and MiFlash should automatically recognize the device. Then click the second button (circled out in red) to flash the ROM file to the device.
Note :
Clean all: All data and user configuration will be cleaned, and the lock state of the device is 'Unlocked' after flashing.
Save user data: All data and user configuration will be saved, and the lock state of the device varies with the device model after flashing.

Step 6
Wait until the progress bar inside MiFlash turns fully green, which means the ROM has been successfully installed. Then your device should automatically boot to the new version. Please wait patiently until the flashing process fully completed.

Multiple Flashing Options
Mi Flash tool is providing you three options of flashing Fastboot ROM. So, You can use the command with any suitable choice of yours.
Clean All – You can do the clean installation of MIUI ROM Thorugh this command. It clear all data & Internal storage through it.
Save User Data – It will install MIUI Firmware expect the internal storage of your data. By which you can save internal storage data with this flashing option.
Clean All & Lock – This will Clean your all data & also it will lock your unlocked bootloader using this command
